HaloHub App: Privacy Policy

Effective: August 26, 2025

At HaloHub, safeguarding your privacy is our top priority. Our team, HaloHub Team, is committed to handling your personal information with the highest standards of security and transparency. This document details our privacy practices, empowering you to understand what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can manage your privacy settings. By using HaloHub, you consent to the terms outlined below.

What You Need to Know About Your Data

First, let’s cover the basics: We collect information to make HaloHub work better for you, but we never sell it. Here’s how it all works.

Your Control Over Your Information

You have full say over your data. Here’s what you can do:

· See what personal info we have stored about you.

· Fix any mistakes in your HaloHub account details.

· Ask us to delete your data (though laws might sometimes prevent this).

· Limit how we use your data in certain situations.

· Choose which emails, alerts, or messages you get from us.

To do any of these, just email xiatong89617@outlook.com.

What Information Do We Get?

We collect two main types of info: what you share, and what we gather automatically.

Info You Give Us

When you use HaloHub—like signing up, tweaking settings, or asking for help—you’ll share things like:

· Your full name, username, and email (we need these to run your account).

· Your choices for notifications, privacy, and other account setups.

Info We Collect Automatically

As you use the app, we pick up details without you having to do anything:

· Device stuff: Your phone or tablet model, operating system, and hardware specs (to make sure HaloHub runs smoothly).

· Location clues: Your IP address gives us a general idea of where you are. If you let us, we’ll also get precise location data to tailor your experience.

· How you use HaloHub: Which features you tap, how often you open the app, and how long you stay (this helps us improve things).

Location Data

We only get your location if you say it’s okay. You can change this anytime in your device or app settings.

Tracking Tools

We use cookies and similar tech to learn how people use HaloHub, fix issues, and make the app better.

How We Handle Your Photos

Pictures you upload are treated carefully:

· No facial recognition: We don’t collect or use biometric data (like face scans) at all. No analyzing faces, checking identities, or pulling out facial details.

· Only for creativity: Your photos are used only to make style changes with AI—think of it as a fun visual tool. No personal identification here.

· Stored on your device: Original and edited photos live on your phone/tablet, in the "Creation History" section. They’re gone for good when you delete them. Any temporary data from processing disappears right after the AI is done—no extra steps needed.

What We Do With Your Information

We use your data to:

· Make HaloHub feel like yours: Customize what you see, how the app works, and what features pop up based on your likes.

· Make HaloHub better: Find bugs, spruce up old features, and build new ones using what we learn from how you use the app.

· Keep you safe: Protect your account from threats and make sure everyone using HaloHub stays secure.

· Help you out: Understand your questions so we can give better support.

· Follow the rules: Make sure we’re doing things the right way, legally.

Keeping Your Data Safe

We take steps to protect your info:

· Sensitive data is locked up with encryption, whether it’s being sent or stored.

· Only people who need to see your data can access it.

· We check and update our security tools regularly to keep them strong.

Pro tip: A strong password helps keep your account even safer.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We hang onto your info only as long as we need it for the reasons above. Once we’re done, or if you ask us to, we’ll delete it or make it anonymous—unless the law says we have to keep it.

When We Might Share Your Info

We don’t sell your data, but sometimes we need to share it:

· With companies that help us run HaloHub (like storage or analytics tools)—they have to protect your data strictly.

· If the law says we must, or to protect HaloHub and its users from harm.

· If HaloHub is part of a merger or sale—we’ll tell you before this happens.

Kids and HaloHub

We don’t try to get info from kids under 17. If we accidentally collect data from a kid without permission, we’ll delete it right away. Parents/guardians can email us if they think this happened.

Data Around the World

Since HaloHub is used globally, your info might travel to other countries. By using the app, you know privacy laws there might be different.

Changes to This Policy

We might update this policy sometimes. New versions go on our website, and we’ll tell you about big changes in the app. If you keep using HaloHub after that, you agree to the new terms.
